She was part of the team that launched Automotive News TV, eventually becoming ANTV&#8217;s managing editor and executive producer. Most recently, Leslie was a senior editor for Business Insider. Through her contract work, Emma has supported Interfaith America and Michigan Interfaith Power and Light. In 2019, Kathy was named Editor of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association. Kathy also co-founded Freep Film Festival, the annual documentary-focused film festival in Detroit. He helps plan and execute in-depth reporting and campaign coverage. As a longtime political reporter, Jonathan was named 2021 Journalist of the Year by the Michigan Press Association. He and a colleague shared that honor again in 2023, when they were also named Journalists of the Year by the Society of Professional Journalists \u2013 Detroit Chapter. Jonathan covered the state Capitol for The Detroit News and MLive before joining Bridge in September of 2019. Schuster is a Capitol Reporter for Bridge Michigan. Simon joined Bridge Michigan in 2024 after working as MLive&#8217;s senior political reporter and later covering politics on their investigative team. He spent three years tracking the influence of political money in Michigan as executive director of the Michigan Campaign Finance Network, a nonpartisan nonprofit. A Michigan native, Simon received a bachelor&#8217;s and a master of public policy from Michigan State University, where he was a policy fellow at the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research.
